Sessionry Privacy Policy

Developer: VNCNT Labs · Effective date: October 17, 2026 · Version covered: 1.0 (free) · Contact: [email protected]

This policy covers the browser extension VNCNT Sessionry: Crash-Proof Tab and Session Manager for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Sessionry saves the list of tabs you have open so it can bring them back after a crash, a restart or a mistake. Everything it saves stays in your browser on this computer. VNCNT Labs never receives your tabs, their addresses or titles, your collections or anything else you do with the extension, and version 1.0 makes no network requests at all.

1. What it reads

To do its job Sessionry uses the browser's "tabs" and "tab groups" permissions. Your browser describes the first as "Read your browsing history" because the extension can see the address and title of each open tab, which window it is in, whether it is pinned and which tab group it belongs to. Sessionry reads these whenever tabs change. It does not read the content of web pages, your cookies, saved passwords, form data or the browser's own history list, and it has no access to any website.

Incognito tabs are never saved unless you allow Sessionry in incognito in the browser's extension settings and turn off "Never save incognito windows" in Sessionry's settings.

2. What is stored, and where

Nothing is synced through your browser account. You can delete all history in Settings ("Delete all history"), and uninstalling the extension removes everything it stored.

3. Importing

When you import a Sessionry, OneTab or link-list file, Sessionry reads that file on your computer only. Nothing is uploaded.

4. Daily backup file (Pro, when available)

If you turn on the daily backup, Sessionry asks for the browser's "downloads" permission and, once a day while the browser is open, saves a file with your collections and recent versions to Downloads/Sessionry on your computer. If you choose to encrypt it, the key is derived from your password and stored as a non-extractable key in the extension's storage; the password itself is not stored. Where that folder is copied (for example a synced drive you set up) is up to you; Sessionry sends nothing anywhere.

5. What we don't do

6. Data use statement

The use of information received from browser APIs is limited to providing Sessionry's single purpose (saving and restoring your tabs and sessions) and adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. Pro licence (when Pro launches)

Version 1.0 has no paid features and no licence checks. When Pro launches, purchases and licence keys will be handled by Lemon Squeezy (our reseller and merchant of record). To activate Pro, the extension sends your licence key and an instance name to Lemon Squeezy's licence API, and re-checks it at most once a day. No tabs, addresses, titles, collections or backups are ever sent. Lemon Squeezy's own privacy policy applies to your purchase. This section will be updated before Pro is enabled.

8. Children

Sessionry is a productivity tool and is not directed at children under 13.

9. Changes and contact

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect in the extension. Questions: [email protected].
